DeVons Jewelers is proud to announce that we are now an authorized retailer of NOMOS Glashütte and Tissot watches, bringing two distinctive names in fine watchmaking to our stores. With German engineering and modern design from NOMOS and more than 170 years of Swiss watchmaking heritage from Tissot, these new additions give our customers even more ways to find a timepiece that fits their style.
About NOMOS
NOMOS Glashütte is based in the renowned watchmaking town of Glashütte, Germany, where its mechanical timepieces are designed and manufactured. Known for clean, modern design, precise German engineering and in-house movements, NOMOS creates distinctive watches with an understated approach to luxury.
It’s rare for a watchmaker to produce its own escapement — the device that permits controlled motion, usually in steps — think the tick-tock sound. NOMOS does. In fact, all 13 of its calibers are produced in-house in Glashütte. The multi-award-winning German company also is influenced by the principles of the Bauhaus movement, which provided that luxury doesn’t mean ornamentation; rather the “honesty” of the materials inspires the minimalist design.

Standout Collections
NOMOS: Tangente is most likely the best-known mechanical watch made in Germany, and one of the brand’s best sellers for more than three decades. A perfect blend of elegance and functional clarity, they have been classics since they were first introduced. The watches in the Club collection, on the other hand, are sporty and youthful, but they still look good whether you’re meeting with executives or jogging around the park.
The introduction of the Metro more than a decade ago netted numerous design awards. With a simple, yet eloquent design, the timepiece is highly regarded, and much of the praise is due to the award-winning, Berlin-based designer, Mark Braun. A stainless steel case lends to the sophisticated look of the Ludwig, available in both manual and automatic models. Roman numerals, the refined case and railroad minute markers are just of the few attributes that draw customers to this NOMOS classic.
About Tissot
Founded in 1853 in Le Locle, Switzerland, Tissot brings extensive experience of Swiss watchmaking heritage to a broad collection of timepieces. Known for balancing craftsmanship, innovation and distinctive style, Tissot offers an approachable way to experience the quality and tradition of Swiss watchmaking.
Swiss watches are synonymous with high-quality timepieces, and Tissot is no exception. Each watch contains an average of 100 exquisitely manufactured components, with the final product encompassing a balance of renowned Swiss heritage, unique style and innovative craftsmanship.

Standout Collections
TISSOT: The timepieces in the PRX collection are extensive, to say the least. Available in many textures, colors and sizes, PRX watches are popular for the blending of an integrated steel sports style with a sleek, high-end look. The Gentleman is considered the “perfect everyday watch,” with its classic yet elegant look and its ability to resist magnetic fields and temperature variations.
Named after the town where Tissot was founded, the Le Locle set of timepieces offer sophistication with subtle touches of everyday watches. Available in both men’s and women’s models, the Le Locle collection embodies the brand’s classic heritage. The Seastar collection of watersports watches is the timepiece of choice for many divers. Excellent in the water, they still combine desirable attributes of technology and elegance.
Why NOMOS and TISSOT at DeVons?
Both brands share the qualities DeVons looks for in fine watchmaking: craftsmanship, heritage, quality and distinctive design. At the same time, they bring two complementary perspectives to our watch selection.
NOMOS brings an understated, design-driven approach to German mechanical watchmaking, while Tissot combines generations of Swiss heritage with versatility and approachable luxury. Together, they expand the range of exceptional timepieces DeVons customers can explore, whether shopping for themselves or marking a meaningful occasion with a gift.
The two brands also offer something for different kinds of watch buyers. NOMOS may appeal to someone seeking a refined everyday mechanical watch or an understated alternative to more recognizable luxury names. Tissot offers Swiss craftsmanship and versatility at an approachable entry point, making it equally compelling for longtime watch enthusiasts and those looking to begin their collection.
Experience Them in Person
A fine watch is best experienced on the wrist. Seeing the proportions of the case, finishing of the dial, details of the bracelet or strap and overall feel in person can reveal qualities that simply don’t come through on a screen.
With a holiday, birthday, wedding or anniversary always on the horizon, come experience the beauty and sophistication of the fine watches from NOMOS Glashütte and Tissot — as well as other top-brand watches and jewelry — in a conveniently located DeVons store.
